NFLHE is a national organization led by senior executive health care leaders in the U.S. whose vision is to be a voice for their experience and of the diverse communities they serve.
NFLHE works with the nation’s healthcare system to meet the needs of our diverse communities throughout the U.S. NFLHE helps prepare the next generation of Latino healthcare executives to meet the challenges of the nation’s future and improve the healthcare for our communities.
NFLHE and its members serve as leaders and resources in health and healthcare research and policy. Our members are experts in their fields and serve as resources in healthcare legislation, regulation and policy that affect the health and well-being of U.S. Latino communities. NFLHE works with industry leaders to increase the representation of Latinos in the executive ranks of U.S. hospitals, health systems and healthcare. In addition, NFLHE partners with government agencies, including the IOM, which recommends increasing the number of minority health professionals as a key strategy to eliminating health disparities in the United States.
